Wroniecka 23 is not only the seat of the studio of architecture and urban planning. It is also the place of art exhibition and the meeting venue for artists and representatives of culture.
Guests who visit the house can see a unique architectural detail – a diamond fixed on the top floor of the front elevation, above the entrance. It is the construction of steel and glass which required a lot of craftsmanship of glaziers and metallurgists. It is highlighted by the illumination which lights up the diamond at night. It is also the symbol of symbiosis of various arts: at dusk, it is accompanied by music composed especially for our tenement house by Leszek Możdżer, an outstanding Polish pianist and composer. We also design applied arts. They encompass such elements as flowerbeds, flower pots, light fixtures, mail boxes, garden screens, birdhouses and many other.
Even a bathroom can be a place of artistic expression. The floor in the bathroom on the second floor was individually designed and custom-made.
The fine white-grey-black mosaic represents a whirlpool that gives a fantastic 3D impression. “The house was a starting point for new functions, a source of expression, intrigue, space that offers exposition, surprise and dynamics – all this inspired me to create a drawing illustrating matter in motion. It is resembled on the floor which seems to flow and is the background for the form and function of the bathroom”, says professor Sławomir Rosolski, author of the design.
In the house there is also a fashion atelier of Małgorzata Hajduk. She is the creator of clothes which are designed and tailor-made individually. In the beautiful interior of the building there is always time and space to talk about fashion trends, colours and shapes and Małgorzata’s clients can participate in the process of creating unique, exceptional and personal outfits.
